CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

West Ham have revealed that James Ward-Prowse is fine and free from injury but the player will take the remainder of the week off.

He is being given a well deserved break after his brilliant start to the season and will be fine to play in the Manchester City game after the international break.

A source told us that despite reports he was off for a scan today there had been no need as the problem was no problem at all.

That’s outstanding news for the Hammers and us fans who have seen him probably become the star man at the club over his three games and despite reservations among some fans and ourselves about the purchase CandH’s hands are in the air.

The guy has been brilliant.

Our source explained: He will now have a rest and come back to training next week at Rush Green. He is absolutely fine – we have no worries.”
