Ex-football star Rodney Marsh has sent a big message to West Ham’s owners, insisting now is the time to put up or shut up!
The Irons have been excellent throughout the season and are challenging for qualification to Europe again this term, and are also currently in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, where they are set to play Lyon to potentially reach the last-four.
David Moyes’ side are continuing to push for a top-six finish and Marsh believes that now is the time for the Hammers to either start strengthening their squad or to accept their current status as status as challengers for the best of the rest.
Writing on Twitter, Marsh, who played for the likes of Fulham, QPR, Manchester City and England throughout his career, said: “The time is now. West Ham have never been better positioned. Owners have to decide, are they plucky little triers or reach for the big time.”
The Irons will aim to strengthen in the summer, as David Moyes aims to bring in a new striker as well as a centre-back, along with further potential additions.
