Hammers players attitude perfectly summed up:
Danny Ings Missed three decent chances

The performance against Bristol City was shameful and the attitude of the Hammers players is summed up perfectly in a post on the Claret and Hugh Facebook page.

Here’s how Brian Neil Gay did so in a post with which it is very hard to argue!

“Sometimes I think some players forget what they are being paid the big bucks for.

It’s not to put in inept performances against mediocre Championship teams. When these big contracts are handed out the least that should be expected in return is a consistent level of performance.

The ability to do the basics without question on a repeatable basis should be a given. These guys are paid a kings ransom and for that sort of money an employer should rightly expect a level of expertise in their performance to match.

In games like this too many of our payroll go missing and let standards slip way below their pay grades. It’s not good enough.”
