Hammers receive international duty fitness checks

|

Ogbonna likely to hold his place

Manuel Pellegrini has a fully fit squad for tomorrow night’s match against Villa.

The medics have checked out all players who were international duty over the last fortnight and they have all been given a clean bill of health.

We were told by a club insider on the phone a few minutes ago  there are no problems whatsoever and that with the exception of Winston Reid and Michail Antonio every player in the squad is available to play his part.

And it seems likely as a result that the team which defeated Norwich City – conquerors of champions Manchester City yesterday (Sat) will be lining up for a match against the Villains – currently in 18th place with three points following their return to the Premier League.

It seems certain that Angelo Ogbonna will continue at central defence alongside Issa Diop and that Pablo Fornals will continue his integration into the squad from the bench.
