Hammers rekindle Lescott interest

West Ham will try again to land Joleon Lescott when he leaves Manchester City on a free transfer this summer.

Manchester City have not offered Lescott a new contract and Lescott, 31, is prepared to accept less than his current £90,000-a-week salary when he quits City. West Ham are expected to make an offer around £60,000 per week to secure his services.
