Hammers remain keen on Championship defender

|

Joe Worrall

Hammers boss David Moyes is continuing to keep a careful eye on Nottingham Forest central defender Joe Worrall.

However, he may well be hoping the midlands outfit fail to make it into the Premier League if he is to have a real chance of snapping him up.

Worrall is the type of highly combative player Moyes likes and has been linked with the Irons for some time.

The Hammers boss is also keeping an eye on Fulham central defender Tosin Adarabioyo but with the Cottagers nine points clear of the Championship it’s highly improbable they will sell the impressive 24 year old should they be promoted.

Worrall may well be the more likely option with Forest currently in ninth place and making a run at the play offs.

Forest have been eyeing Hammers youngster Emmanuel Longelo and might be ready to do a player plus cash swap at around £10 million for the 25 year old Worrall.
