Hammers respond to Moyes sacked rumour

Exclusive By Hughie Southon

David Moyes is still West Ham’s manager despite another defeat and our tenth away game without a win so far this season at Tottenham.

Rumours arose on social media and a couple of websites this evening that we had parted ways with the 59 year old Scot after the game.

But we have been told by our key London Stadium source that the manager remains in the job after putting the question to him within an our of the match ending and the report emerging.

It was a single word answer and no other explanation was forthcoming under questioning but the word “No.”

So as things stand – unless there is a change of hear or mood, during the next few days – Moyes will again be in the dug out when Nottingham Forest arrive for next weekend’s clash at the London Stadium.

That one simply is the ultimate MUST MUST MUST win game but with Forest improving there’s no counting on it happening!
