Hammers return to pre season training

tompsA number of first team players have reported for training at Chadwell heath this morning with just 11 days before the first Europa league match against Andorran minnows FC Lusitans.

Morgan Amalfitano, Andy Carroll, James Tomkins, Diafra Sakho, Elliot Lee, Doneil Henry and new boy Darren Randolph were all pictured arriving at the training ground to start their pre season training.

The squad against FC Lusitans is expected to include a number of youngsters mixed with a number of senior squad players returning from injuries.

  2. Dhow can you prepare for a European game in 11 days let alone the 1st game of season.. Whilst I well happy we have European footy this is a joke tbh. And I hope I’m wrong but can’t see it doing any good for our league position… Still COME ON YOU IRONS

  4. Playing this standard of opposition is no different from a load of friendlies as they increase in challenge,we’re not ready for top 6 so I’d happily take a good run in this and the other cups with a midtable finish.

  5. It’s only a few weeks since most of these players were playing football it will take no more that 11 days for them to reach sufficient fitness to beat part timers plus most of these players have been togeather last season and they are comfortable with each other,
    Can’t believe people are worried this would effect our league position
    Need to hug that hippo doll tidy or throw it in the bin and start believing in Slaven and our club,
