Hammers return to training

Hammer Andriy Yarmolenko has returned to full training with the first team at West Ham this week.

The forward has been injured since what looked like a nasty knee ligament injury suffered at Old Trafford last month.

It had been expected that Yarmolenko would miss the majority of the remaining games of the season at a minimum.

Fellow Hammer Arthur Masuaku is training with the Under 23’s on grass while recovering from his knee and is likely to be included within the U23 squad soon to get some valuable game time in his challenge to regain his match fitness.

Angelo Ogbonna continues to train daily in the gym since the removal his protective medical boot after a high ankle strain. It is hoped he will also soon return to training on grass.

Club insiders are optimistic that two to three of these long term absentees could return after the international break and become available for selection for the game against Wolves on 3rd April.
