Premier League total income for the 2019/20 season fell by £633 million compared to the previous season as Covid impact from March onwards.
The revenue gap between the traditional top six clubs and the other 14 clubs narrowed from £345m to £303m.
Tables provided by Football finance guru and host of the Price of Football podcast Kieran Maguire who revealed the drops in revenue across the Premier League.
The Hammers fell to twelfth in the table in terms of revenue for the 2019/2020 but it was not a level playing field for all clubs as some such as Crystal Palace have a later financial year-end which allowed them to include TV income from deferred games.
Outside of the traditional top six, Everton, Newcastle, Leicester, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace all reported more revenue than West Ham.
In comparison, Maguire published the 2018/2019 season figures which show West Ham sixth with £191m, the most revenue outside the traditional top six.
And those figures are for season 2019/20 which was only affected by Covid for a relatively few games at the end of the season.
The figures for 2020/21 season will make for interesting reading.
