West Ham were joined by Leicester City and Everton scouts in checking out Brazilian winger Jonathan Cafu in midweek.

The irons watched the 25-year-old Cafu playing for  for Ludogorets in their Europa League defeat to Copenhagen.

The Brazilian was given a lone striker role against the Danes but was unable to prevent his side going down 2-1.

Ludogorets – who signed Cafu from Sao Paulo for £1.9million are reportedly looking for £12 million if they are to sell him on.

Leicester made an approach in January but opted against pushing a deal through.
