West Ham had scouts at the international between Austria v Denmark last night with speculation being they could be taking another look at Christian Eriksen involved in his nation’s 1-2 win.

The Hammers scouts may also have been interested in theĀ  often mentioned target Martin Braithwaite who also lined up for the Danes.

However, that looks unlikely with the Barcelona striker now 30 although David Moyes could see him as a short term back up to Michail Antonio.

Austrian left back Marco Friedl is another could have been on their radar . The 24 year old can also play at centre back. He plays for Werder Bremen and significantly his contract runs out next year.

It was an intriguing scenario last night with a number of clubs -including Manchester United and Spurs – at the game as our image shows.

With the window opening on Friday this is a match which may easily throw up two or three targets
