West Ham United scouts were among others watching Porto’s Primeira Liga clash against Gil Vicente on Saturday, according to A Bola .
The Hammers – who failed to buy a striker in this last window are believed to be scouting front man Mehdi Taremi who featured in the 2-1 win over Vicente.
It seems that Tim Steidten is getting to grips with his job early as scouts are being sent all over Europe and being given specific target as the club focus on a striker and left back.
Taremi scored 31 goals from 49 appearances last season and has already hiot the net twice this season and at 31 years of age wouldn’t cost the hammers a fortune
