Hammers set for striker offer

The Hammers could get a second opportunity to sign Hugo Ekitike in January.

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are reported to now be ready to be open to loan deals and according to L’Equipe we were very keen to get a deal done.

The same report says that Ekitike rejected a chance to join Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt because he is desperate to move into the Premier League with Crystal Palace also interested.

We were keen and Palace offered a loan deal but Paris St Germain turned that down on the basis that they only wanted to do a permanent deal.

Now L’Equipe claims that in an effort to get him off the wage bill PSG are now willing to accept short-term offers in the winter.

However, it goes almost without saying that the French outfit will want to any club offering a pretty hefty loan fee if the deal is to be completed.

  1. One thing for sure, we must know exactly who/ what we want in a striker. We also have Tim on board. Moyes must clearly define his striker template and send in Tim. No more signings like Scamacca or Ings, who are really good players, but don’t fit the Moyes mold. Sort out your thinking David, get the type of striker you want please.
