Hammers set to let striker leave for right offer

andrew-ayew-west-ham_3766955West Ham are ready to listen to offers for Andre Ayew in the January transfer window.

Various reports claim that David Moyes sees him as one that could be let go in order to boost his transfer kitty this winter.

And we understand that were the club to receive an offer of around £12 million they would be ready to let him leave after a disappointing  spell with the club.

Last season, Ayew had 25 league outings, involving 16 starts and six goals, for West Ham but he has been widely criticised for his real lack of impact following a £20 million switch from Swansea.

We were told: “We are always ready to listen to offers for players but they have to be realistic.”

  1. Makes sense ! 8 million loss and made a song and dance about carvhalo !!
You couldn’t make this stuff up !! But good news if true 👍 should never have bought him in the first place ! Our buying ballsups has a familiar ring to it , its called I don’t have a fekin clue about quality !!😕

  2. He certainly doesn’t seem to fit with the way Moyes plays football, I guess it has more to do with the fact he would raise a larger fee than the other wingers, can’t get away from the fact that he is statistically our most effective forward, more assists and goals than anyone since Payet… To be honest it is a surprise to me that he is that player but I wouldn’t sell him before the end of the season purely for that fact that he has the goals and assists in him.

    • But not team effort or work rate to match Moyes and other teams work rates. 20 mill for a chancer , Swansea supporters warned us about him and what I saw of him I wouldn’t have brought him in and have said so from day one , fegoulie was the same lol talented but not a grafter or team player ! The team is not balanced ! Moyes needs to get the scales out and start evening them up 😉

  3. Stick Carroll on that list.

  4. Sell Carroll ahead of Ayew every day . At least Ayew scores a few goals

  5. I’ve had hears they are acdpeting offers for AC.
Only problem pur squad is so thin we well Sahko AC Ayew & another. Be hard to get 4 good players in Jan & we need 2-3 without selling.
Tho I like Ayew think he best #10,or #2 striker. He van score & assist. 6&5 last season w injury and are top scoret in all comps this season w little game time but he isn’t a lone striker.
And has scored some important goals.

If we do sell him or Kouyate has been mentioned too better have reaplecents first.
We already let to many go in summer.

Let Hart go back & we can pay 3 good players wages £130k we pay

    • Agree JRS in a relegation battle it is important to buy the replacement first and sell afterwards, big Sam would probably take Carroll although I would be surprised if he was sold in January.
