West Ham are being reported as likely to lose out in race for non-League striker Jayden Wareham.
The 17 year old has notched two goals in 14 appearance for National League relegation strugglers Woking.
And The Telegraph – who have good links with the Hammers boardroom – claim the teenager could be in line for a dream move.
He had earlier been with Queens Park Rangers for five years but after a move to the Surrey club is now being tracked by both the Irons and Blues.
It’ also believed that Leiester City and Southampton may be eyeing the youngster who despite the position his current club’ lowly position has caught the eye of non league fans
But according to the Telegraph it appears the Blues are in front as their Cobham training ground just a 25-minute drive from the Cardinals’ ground in Woking.
And as per the Transfermarkt website, Wareham has already turned out three times for Chelsea Under-18s in the Premier League 2 in recent weeks.
Not really losing out. In this sport everyone’s a winner.
