“Hammers should cut their losses” on recent signing – Report

With a week before transfer business starts in earnest, West Ham United’s ‘surrogate director of football’- super agent Jorge Mandes seems to be at full speed ahead trying to line up moves for several of West Ham United’s unwanted stars.

Reported today by sportwitness.co.uk, one of the recent winter signings is apparently on ‘the list’ to be moved on during the summer. Whilst forward Pablo was seen as hard working and a willing workhorse, his output of just one assist in five months wasn’t considered sufficient by many fans. And you;’d suspect Nuno Espirito Santo has reached the same conclusion, even if Pablo’s Dad is a former team mate of the Hammers manager.

Six months in a bad team isn’t enough for any player to make a mark. That is why it would be very unfair to judge Pablo Felipe on his West Ham spell alone. Considering how he has played in the top-flight for three seasons, he may not want to play in the Championship.

Since Mendes is already trying to sort out his exit, the Hammers would be best parting ways.

His value could still be quite good, as he only joined in January.

Even an initial loan can make sense, as the player’s value may rise further if he does well at a club like Lazio.”

Either way it seems West Ham are prioritising Castrellanos over Pablo. Taty you’d hope would be top drawer in the Championship having started well enough last season. He certainly proved he has the attitude to fight for the badge- providing West Ham can convince him to stay and help the club fight back from the setback of relegation.
