Hammers slip places but can bounce back quickly

|

West Ham slipped into eighth place after the Saturday results but can push their way back into fifth with victory at Villa Park tomorrow ( Sun).

Newcastle’s comfortable 4-0 win over Crystal Palace saw Eddie Howe’s men vault into fifth place leaving the south east Londoners two points behind the Irons in 10th position.

Brighton and Hove Albion stumbled into sixth place following their 2-1 defeat against Manchester City leaving them one place and two points in front of the Irons.

Arsenal tonight are involved in a a London derby at Arsenal whilst Manchester United – two points behind us will push us into ninth place with a win at Bramall Lane.

However, victory in the midlands tomorrow will continue our wining run at the club and see us move back into fifth place.

It’s still pretty tight at the top and we really need a victory against a team which hasn’t been beaten in 10 consecutive home games.
