West Ham United and Everton are interested in signing Chelsea’s David Datro Fofana.

He spent the second half of last season out on loan at Burnley, having represented Chelsea three times the previous season.

Vincent Kompany described the attacker as “outstanding” after a game against West Ham, with the 21-year-old finishing the Premier League campaign with four goals in 15 appearances.

Fofana was signed by Chelsea from Molde in Norway where he scored 15 goals in 42 appearances. The forward has also tried his luck in Germany, where he played for Union Berlin on loan, scoring a solitary goal.

Football insider Fabrizio Romano has also had his say on the Ivorian forward today. Speaking in his daily briefing, the Italian journalist said, “I think David Datro Fofana will leave Chelsea, as many clubs are interested.”

Fofana was on loan at Burnley last season and scored a few goals as well, but it doesn’t look like his future is at Chelsea, and they might look to turn a profit on him now.

I think this bloke would be a better option to Duran. He’s aggressive, powerful and looked like he improved Burnley when he was on the field.

No wonder Burnley got relegated if Kompany thinks an outstanding game against our pathetic defense is a measure of quality to go by. He was effin useless at Union in a league you lot refer to as a ‘farmer’s’ league. This guy is average. Another Chelsea flop.
God help Bayern Munich and their new collection of EPL rabble. I’ll give him until the end of October.
Steer clear of this Chelsea reject and anybody Kompany rates. And no, Palhinha was promised the move when the deal broke down last season. He’s nothing to do with Pep’s pal Vinnie. He’s a club singing meaning the coach has zero say.
