Hammers social club closes doors

hammerssocialclubThe West Ham Supporters Club in Castle street next to land on which once stood the Boleyn Ground has shut its doors.

A statement on the Hammers Social Club Website said: “It has been necessary to temporarily close our Castle Street premises in order to carry out significant and essential maintenance and refurbishment works.”

“The Executive Committee will be working around the clock to ensure that works are carried out as quickly as possible and that the venue is re-opened to members as soon as we can.

The temporary closure will NOT affect our match day bar at Stour Space, 7 Roach Road, London E3 2PA, our hub venue will remain open on match days and we look forward to welcoming you soon.”

“An Extraordinary General Meeting is being arranged to provide members with more details, venue to be determined.  Please visit our website www.whufcsc.com to keep up to date with developments.”
