Hammers speak on that Carroll/Everton link

CarrollWest Ham have made it clear there has been no inquiry for  Andy Carroll from anywhere.

The Sun ran a story several days ago claiming Everton boss Ronald Koeman saw the striker as the answer to his problems up top after selling Lukaku.

It created a huge buzz between fans at both clubs but it is simply not true according to ClaretandHugh sources who were quick to speak out.

Few probably believed the ‘story’ in the first place but our insider described the piece of gossip as a “piece of fiction.”

He said: “There has been no inquiry whatsoever  – it’s as simple as that. Andy remains a West Ham player contracted until 2019. This really is simply a piece of fiction.

“We can understand how it’s possible to put two and two together sometimes but there is honestly nothing in this one at all.”

  1. Well I’m over the moon now and look forward to another 6 goals this season and 6 more next season to celebrate wildly and then tell everyone how he single handily kept us up and how he’s a club legend 😆😆
