Hammers speak out on “offers” for best Irons

By Hughie Southon

West Ham have yet to receive a single offer for any of their first team “stars.”

But the manager and board aren’t kidding themselves that some may appear and of course they are resigned to losing Declan Rice who continues to be linked with Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, they insisted again today via a Claret and Hugh source that they are fully expecting offers at the end of the season despite not having received a single one at any stage as the transfer saga surrounding  him for months raged on through the media.

Jarrod Bowen is another who may well interest Premier League clubs at the end of the season but again no offers or inquiries have been received at this stage.

Nayef Aguerd is a third Hammer to have performed particularly well for club and country but once again the summer signing could become a target should we slip into the Championship.

A top level Hammers source told CandH: “We have received no inquiries at all but that could of course all change at the end of the campaign.”
