Hammers spell out Bowen contract issue

Jarrod Bowen has been making all the right noises about his love of West Ham and how he has becoming a fan of the club as well as one of its most important players.

His attitude has led many to believe that he is ready to sign a new deal with the club but the board and David Moyes are not expecting a quick resolution to the problem.

Although he has been linked regularly with Liverpool in particular the board insist they are more than hopeful that a deal will be done at some stage.

However we were assured that whilst Jarrod’s words are welcome the club know that it’s all about the player getting a top deal that could even make him the best p[aid Hammer.

Our key contact at the London Stadium made the position entirely clear when he said: ” Its all about money as is always the case and hopefully we can resolve it all in a few months.”

  1. Jarrod Bowen’s going nowhere. His father-in-law would never allow it, and I can’t see ‘the missus’ moving home up there can you?
