Hammers still keen on Gignac

Andre-Pierre-Gignac-Toulouse_2308627French newspaper Le Parisien claims West Ham are confident of signing Marseille forward Andre-Pierre Gignac this summer after missing out on him in the January transfer window.

Gignac has been a key part of Marseille’s strong form for this season, netting 16 goals in 24 games in all competitions. In Ligue 1 he is the second top scorer in the division with 14. In the January transfer window Gignac was also linked with a move to Liverpool.

Gignac is 29-years-old and his contract with Marseille expires this summer.
