Hammers striker’s boast looks flawed

Jordan Hugill’s boast that he considers himself a Premier League striker and that he’s sure West Ham will be keeping tabs on him may have suffered a blow.

For whilst he is correct that the club will of course be watching his progress, they will have very mixed feelings about the stats he is recording at Queens Park Rangers.

The £8 million signing under David Moyes has so far scored six goals in 11 games for loan club Queens Park Rangers, supplying no assists.

But sadly for him it shows that he is also quite wasteful in front of goal  where his shots on target percentage is lower than any other Championship highest scoring striker at 27 per cent..

Meanwhile at West Brom our other loanee, Grady Diangana, has managed four goals and three assists and his shots on target record is among the highest at 70 per cent.
