Hammers expect 40k crowd for TSC

|

West Ham United beat AK Alkmaar in the semi final first leg of the Europa Conference League

The Hammers will play out their first Euro League match in front of  just under 40,000 fans on Thursday evening – a disappointing number.

Visitors TSC Backa Topola are bringing just 100 supporters from Serbia and a London Stadium insider has asked our fans to give them a great welcome,

He said: ” So far only around 35k tickets have been sold so we would expect the crowd to be just under 40k

They are bringing 100 supporters and I really hope our fans will give theirs a warm an  sporting welcome. Our opponents are top of their league and scoring a lot of goals.”

It will be an interesting opener for the Hammers and having watched the team in preparation for the game we will have some idea of how strong they are when the manager names our team for the clash.

However, it is likely we will see plenty of new faces to those that have appeared in the Premier League.
