Hammers target midfield ace

Sigurdsson - a Hammers target

Sigurdsson – a Hammers target

The Irons are ready to make another move for Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson in the summer.

The club had wanted the 27 year old Icelandic international in January as a replacement for Dimitri Payet  but the Swans knocked them back.

Swansea knocked us back on that occasion and the attacking midfielder who can play right or left maintained he wanted to stay in Wales anyway.

But the player is now high on the list of hammers target as the club plans a complete overhaul following the problems of this disappointing campaign.

Everton are also involved in a chase for for Sigurdsson with Ronald Koeman a big fan. The former Spurs star has scored nine times this season and leads the assists charts with 11.

  1. Gylfi Sigurdsson would be a wonderful signing for the Hammers..
he is a top quality play-maker!

  2. He would indeed be a terrific signing but i do fear should he be up for a move there will bigger clubs than us more than a little interested in him.

  3. Did not realise he is only 27. But fear Stan is right. The type of player we need, but I was saying yesterday that these are the sort who don’t want to come. Same problem with managers! The experts always go on about how London is an attraction & that with the new ground players will be eager to join. But it doesn’t look that way. Why?

  4. IGNORE all rumours right now i’d suggest, as the window to renew season tickets is still open…

  5. Lol ok i wont renew then based on who we might or might not sign.Ok you have got me there master im going down the fickle fan route 😂

  6. I’d like that but it won’t happen.

  7. Great signing
