Hammers the REAL winners of FA Cup semi final

|

Collison Arsenal may have nailed their place in the FA Cup Final but the Hammers were the real winners from this evening semi-final against Wigan Athletic.

For with their match at the Emirates scheduled for Tuesday evening the Gooners were involved in 120 minutes of seriously tiring action before  winning on penalties.

Among those who helped the north Londoners into the final was on loan Hammer Jack Collison (pictured) who hit a very poor second Wigan spot kick which was comfortably saved by Lukasz Fabianski.

But before the shoot-out, Arsene Wenger’s outfit had been pushed to their limits by gutsy Wigan and now have just a couple of days to recover before Sam’s boys arrive.

After watching how Wigan coped before taking them to the wire, there will be no room for anxiety among our boys who will unquestionably enjoy a fitness edge.
