Hammers face £10m fee for defender

|

IorfaWest Ham will need to find a minimium £10m if they are to have any chance of wooing Dominic Iorfa out of Wolves this winter.

The pacy right back has been constantly scouted by the Irons over the last year and with a right-sided defender very much on the agenda ths windown the 21 year old is high on the list of targets.

Iorfa – born in Southend – joined the Championship side in 2014 from Shrewsbury signing a five year deal so the Hammers will be forced to pay top dollar should they make a transfer window move.

Iorfa has made over 80 appearances for the Molineux outfit who are currently languihing in 19th place just two points above the relegation zone.

That could discorage the club’s new Chinese owners into selling a player who is a serious fans favourite at a time of serious anxiety.

However, the Hammers remain keen and are likely to make serious inquiries into the player’s availability with a source saying: “He’s certainly on on the list in that position.”
