Hammers to get close-up look at big target

|

West Ham will get a close look at Youssef En-Nesyri when West Ham face Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Hammers have long been linked with a swoop to sign the striker and a bid was launched for the forward back in 2021, with the player’s agent revealing that an offer had been put forward.

However, En-Nesyri wanted to stay at the Spanish club, despite there being a huge wake hike on offer.

Fichajes, in Spain, has reported that West Ham are again interested in a deal to sign the striker in the summer and he will be closely monitored throughout the Europa League tie.

En-Nesyri has been a prolific presence for Sevilla for some time and has been with the club since 2020, scoring 33 goals in 95 games.

This season, he has yet to get off the mark in the Europa League, but he has scored twice in La Liga, with Sevilla currently second in the table.
