A number of West Ham senior players look set to miss the squad’s tour of Australia which starts on the 15th of this month.
It seems David Moyes will give extra time off to players who have played long into the summer and now need a proper break before the short summer interlude comes to an end.
Ben Johnson has been on international duty along with Michail Antonio whilst Lucas Paqueta is also set to be missing from the squad along possiblt we are hearing with Tomas Soucek and Vladi Coufal.
Hopefully this means that Moyes is going to give a chance to several youngsters and the likes of Flynn Downes as he prepares for the new season.
The Hammers meet Perth Glory on the 15th of July and then Spurs on the 18th before returning to the UK for a match against Dagenham and Redbridge at their place on July 22.
Well if this keeps up then maybe I should ask for a refund on my tickets because it’s a bit of a scam when the team you have paid to see and have looked forward to watch in action is not what is being presented. It’s a bit like paying to see Coldplay in concert and getting a local pub band in their place! It’s disrespectful to West Ham’s overseas fans. Not happy.
