Hammers to pay tribute to late Dylan

West Ham are set to pay tribute to the late Dylan Tombides against Burnley on Sunday.

Dylan tragically died from testicular cancer in 2014, having played for the youth teams in east London.

He made one first-team appearance for the Irons and, as a result of his death, the number 38 was retired.

On Sunday, the Irons are poised to pay tribute to Dylan on Sunday, at the DT38 Awareness Day, in which supporters will be encouraged to join the fight against testicular cancer.

Supporters are encouraged to join applause in the 38th minute in memory of the promising Australian star, who saw his career, and his life, so tragically cut short.

The DT38 Foundation was set up by Dylan’s family and is one of the principal charity partners of the Hammers.

At the heart of their work is encouraging men and boys to check themselves for abnormalities as often as possible, so that tragedies can be avoided.

Everyone at ClaretandHugh would like to once again pay tribute to Dylan, and encourage every fan in the London Stadium to make some real noise in the 38th minute. He is loved and he is missed.
