Hammers to spend big on three players

West Ham United are ready to splash the cash in a big way on three players after the the club’s desperately worrying season.

Despite manager Sam Allardyce refusing to discuss new targets until the club is mathematically safe from relegation, the club is ready to spend big once the manager achieves safety.

Stuck on 37 points, insiders remain convinced we are probably safe but that’s not good enough for the fans who have been making their feelings known in a big way over recent days.

Should they lose over the weekend and all the other results go against them the Hammers could slip another couple of positions with matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City (away) to come.

A  source told said:  “Once we are safe the plans are in place . We need three big players and are ready to spend whatever it takes for next season.”

  1. Three players??

I reckon they need at least six in my book – 2 fullbacks, a central defender, 2 good pacy midfielders and a second striker – that’s the bare minimum to hold our own in the division!
