Hammers track Brazil star wanted by Man U

West Ham is are reported to be on the verge of securing Fluminense’s highly-regarded attacking midfielder, Andre, potentially beating out competition from Manchester United. Despite previous interest from Liverpool, they seem to have withdrawn from the race, leaving West Ham and London rivals Fulham to vie for the player.

Having showcased his skills in the Brazilian Serie A, Andre is now eager to take the next step in his career, and a move to the Premier League presents an exciting opportunity for the talented midfielder.

It’s always difficult to separate transfer gossip from fact at this time of year, but Andre is clearly highly regarded. He has featured heavily in numerous transfer round-ups and the interest from Fulham in particular appears to be solid. There certainly seems to be a belief and disappointment in Brazil that he’ll be joining the EPL soon.

Renowned talkSport and Sky correspondent Tim Vickery has lauded the 22-year-old as an extraordinary talent, adding to the hype surrounding Andre’s potential move.

However, West Ham face challenges, including the player’s price tag and our emphasis on recruiting homegrown talent. Nevertheless, the absence of both Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus has underscored the Hammers’ need for creativity in the squad, making Andre a valuable prospect.

It’s worth noting that we were linked with the same player in the summer window.
