West Ham are allegedly tracking Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet according to a number of media outlets over the past twenty four hours.
The 28-year-old scored in France’s game on Sunday and has been monitored several times by both Everton and West Ham scouts it is reported. The French international did well last season at Marseille, where he scored seven goals in 36 appearances making an incredible 16 assists.
Payet moved to Stade Velodrome from Lille in 2013 for €11m (£8m) and was previously at St Etienne, where he attracted attention from Chelsea and Liverpool.
Well I watched him playing… Great player, he’s gifted and class. My personal opinion is a giant yes. 😉

Again, no mention of any homegrown talent. This all points to keeping Nolinho and the likes. Unless, of course, there’s a genuine push to blood some youngsters int the squad.
