Hammers transfer business to kick start

West Ham’s transfer business looks set to FINALLY get kick started this week with the Hammers activity working on two deals to get them over the line as soon as possible.

The club are being tight lipped on the  actual positions and the targets being worked on but the stops are being pulled out to get one or both of the deals over the line.

David Moyes is looking for a goal keeper, centre back, attacking midfielder and striker and has been identifying targets in a difficult summer transfer market.

Dozens of names have been linked over the summer, perhaps as many as a hundred but the manager is adamant he wants to improve the squad by adding quality to go one better than last season when West Ham missed out on Champions League by just three points.

Watch this space for more details when they are known but in the mean time,  in David Moyes we trust.

  1. In Moyes we trust

  2. Glad to see we’re keeping tight lipped as possible on our legitimate transfer targets

  3. I hope that one of them isn’t the under 23 keeper from Rangers as that would be red rag to a bull for many fans. If the other one was to be Phil Jones the peasants may become somewhat restless with the direction of travel.

  4. Zzzzzzzz when he wakes up you mean and sullivan sells up at last

  5. I love moyes ,and the job he has done for us , but the trust In Moyes saying when we talk about transfer business,,…im not so sure …..bit like the b.l.m saying,,…obviously nothing wrong with it ,,but starting to get a bit tyring..🙄imo

Haven’t seen or heard that reported from Wee Davey. Think that these are assumptions to justify a story.
Wait and see. We will be pleasantly surprised come Christmas and we are doing better than last season. Reality not fantasy. COYI

    • Apparently one reason why rice won’t sign new contract is because there was promises from Sullivan and moyes that they want to kick on this season and bring some high quality signings in…rice doesn’t want to leave but he won’t commit either because of this…😞

      • Or better put there’s not one come through the door yet …..maybe a free phil Jones and 36 y old Bardsley will swing it 🤣🤣🤣

      • Out of interest Childish where did that come from

        • On ,west ham news now, hugh ..think it was insider

          • Football insider. Lol. Some title that for them lol

          • I think the insider was the ex player from us ..bit like all the story’s that are put up on here from all the papers around the world rather than our own so called sources, so not really much difference hugh..if im reading a link from a paper in France or Spain I woukd more likely believe an insider in England especially from our own club…but that’s just me..😁..I think you were hoping I made this up so a dig could go in but sadly I didn’t…👍

    • If you check back you will find it was CandH who first broke the story on which positions he was looking to fill
