Axel Disasi’s Chelsea career looks like it is drifting toward an inevitable conclusion, and the manner of it says everything about how far he has fallen in the club’s plans.
According to reports, the French defender has been told that he is not part of Xabi Alonso’s plans and has been training alone at Cobham, while he searches for a new club.

West Ham have asked about bringing Disasi back, but the defender has no interest in dropping into the Championship following our relegation. His agents are pushing for a move that keeps him in top‑flight football.
AC Milan are among several Italian clubs monitoring the situation, and there is also interest from Ligue 1. On the back of a successful loan at the London stadium, Disasi’s profile makes him an attractive option for clubs looking for defensive reinforcement.

I suspect DK is waiting for a club to agree a fee much lower than £25m before he makes a move.
He is not a £25m player, he is solid but not a world beater, his form in the last 5 games was average.
Chelsea should let him go by mutual agreement he isn’t and won’t be a Chelsea player again barring serious injuries so it is in all parties interest to release him or sell him for a nominal fee. Like Fullkrug for us, if we could get £5m we should shift him. Maybe offer him part exchange to Celtic where he would do well.
I am with the others, we should move on and aggressively go after young hungry talent.

Maybe he is also looking at us and thinking that we have sold our 2 most valuable assets at the top end of the pitch but still no sign of replacements. It is a bit of a leap of faith for him joining us in the championship so we may need to show that we are very serious about ensuring it is 1 year only.
After impressing with us, I expect Disasi will get offers from higher placed clubs. £25m for a proven premiership CB is inexpensive.
So, do we wait until the end of the window and hope that he won’t get a better offer?
