Hammers United survey opens

Hammers United have today launched their online survey, open to all West Ham fans.

The six-minute survey  is hosted by the Football Supporters Association and the results will be made public. The survey will close on 27th December.

The group now represents over 17,000 West Ham United supporters and say they anticipate independent supporters construct being confirmed very soon, allowing supporters a voice at our club.

Hammers United committee Andy Byrne was recently a guest on Moore Than Just A Podcast last Monday.

The new survey comes less than twenty hours after the club launched their own survey out of the blue.

Hard to believe that is a coincidence from the club but the more the merrier

  1. Happily completed the survey. But must say I felt a bit insulted by one of the options for question 17 ‘Build a new ground in our spiritual heartland’ I know the London stadium has many drawbacks compared to the Boelyn but are they really saying Stratford is not in our heartland? Unike the Boleyn which was in East Ham, Stratford in actually in the old borough of West Ham! if this ts the thinking of Hammers United count me out

  2. Hammers United strike me as a protest group who are now struggling for oxygen seeing as the team are now doing so well. If we were to build a new stadium could it not be built somewhere in the Olympic park? There are buildings going up everywhere around the London stadium. Could they not return the London stadium to being an athletics arena for 25000 as was originally intended and then build a purpose built football stadium next door?

    • cyrill,We are neither a protest group or struggling for oxygen mate.Eighty people so far today have applied to join and given us their EMail address.i take on board your comments re new stadium.

  3. Keith, Hammers United strike me as mostly disgruntled fans who never wanted to move from green street in the first place. The majority aren’t season ticket holders anymore for that reason so it obvious why a move back to what they call the spiritual heartland would appeal to them. They don’t consider Stratford as the heartland, even though it is the original borough of West Ham as you say. They don’t consider the new badge without a castle on it as a proper West Ham badge either even though it was the original badge.

    • Peter,On our committee nearly everyone is a season ticket holder and 2 are away season ticket holders mate.

    • peter. How do you know the majority of our members arent season ticket ticket holders any more? Nearly all of our committee are season ticket holders and 2 are away season ticket holders. How do you know our opinion on the badge/? These questions are what the survey is designed to find the answers too mate.

  4. Questions seamed a bit loaded when considering Hammers United a agenda

  5. I have missed very few home games
Since my first game in February 1964
Have done many away games as well and although I miss Upton Park I also like the new ground and don’t have a big problem with the board it is-on that basis I feel the survey is loaded
    Just my opinion Paul
