Claret and Hugh Exclusive by Hughie Southon

West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen may well be ready for the game against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The No 20 missed last night’s game against TSC after suffering a bug leading up to the game rather than a “knock” it was rumoured he received in training.

Bowen absence lets Kudus in

His absence last night allowed Mo Kudus to make his highly effective which saw him play a part in the equalising own goal by TSC before finding the net with a fine header.

He really does look set to become a magnificent signing who can help lush us towards the top of the table and ease any concerns over future injuries to Bowen and other midfielder.

Indeed it will be very surprising if he doesn’t nail his own place in the team permanently such was the obvious ability and creativity.

Bowen injury “rubbish”

As far as Bowen is concerned our key source describing rumours of a knock as ” rubbish” added: ” He’s been ill but is recovering and did light training on Thursday. He’s had a bug and has been  physically sick etc so the rumours rubbish.”
