David Moyes’ injury problems are a serious ongoing worry for the manager and he may need to be at his most inventive to solve them this weekend.
Thilo Kehrer is the latest worry at the back after he came off at half time in the win at Newcastle with his hamstring causing him problems.
Kurt Zouma (thigh), Maxwel Cornet (calf), Gianluca Scamacca (knee) and Alphonse Areola (hamstring) all missed the draw.
For Chelsea, Armando Broja (knee), Christian Pulisic (knee), N’Golo Kanté (thigh), Wesley Fofana (knee) and Denis Zakaria (thigh) are out. Mateo Kovačić (knee) could return, but Édouard Mendy (finger) is a major doubt. João Félix is available again after suspension.
Saturday’s game will broadcast live on television in the UK by BT Sport, and will be shown across the world by the Premier League’s international broadcast partners.
You can listen to commentary in the UK on talkSPORT, BBC Radio London 94.9FM and worldwide on whufc.com and our official app.
Why doesn’t the Club check out some of the free agents ? Better to try this, than keep trying to patch the damage Mr Moyes has caused with his indecision.
Incidentally, when in the name of Mercy are the Board going to get wise to the real and lasting damage David Moyes has done to the Club and get rid of him ?
I would be more worried if Kehrer was fit !
