Hammers v QPR news hit by lockdown

|

I’ve really been a football reporter too long to be surprised by much but once again the West Ham media department has managed to prove that wrong!

Not only is there a lockdown in  place across the country but it seems to be the same when discovering any real news of what’s going on at West Ham.

Here we are nearly three months on from any action from our team and when the opportunity presents itself to give the fans a sight of some action  the shutters stay firmly up.

Even gaining some knowledge of the team which started against Queens Park Rangers yesterday – never mind any sight of the goals -is like pulling out your own teeth.

No reasons are given just a pretty bland message saying: “No, not giving out specific details!”

At the end of the day, maybe, it doesn’t  matter too much except that the fans are desperate to get some details and a sight of such matters.

But that attitude towards that seem to be ‘never mind about that’ apparently.

Nope, I don’t get it either and find no sensible reasons for not allowing us to have some sort of idea of what went on yesterday and who comes next.

Presumably, the reply will be that the manager doesn’t want to give much away but explaining who played and scored the goals is hardly a state secret.

But we couldn’t get that out of them either and had to go to other contacts to find out that Haller, Antonio, Ajeti and Masuaku had put four past Rangers.

Hopefully there will be a change of heart when the expected match between ourselves and Palace is played on Saturday.

Well seeing that we don’t know who played, then I suspect that neither do Wolves management know, So in these must win times that is best that Moyes keeps his powder dry and try to give us an edge
