Hammers want more new signings

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

West Ham’s transfer window activity is not at an end with the club still attempting to bring in more players before deadline day.

We have enjoyed a highly successful window so far and a brilliant unbeaten start to the season on the back of the new signings.

New Hammers signings wanted

But our top source made it clear this afternoon that our attempts to bring in more players is not at an end as we get closer to the end of the window.

And hopefully such has been the quality of those who have already joined other top players will be tempted to join the emerging new West Ham.

The club are keeping names of those they are after close to their chest but made it clear in a story we published earlier that Manchester United’s Harry Maguire is not among them.

We were told exclusively: “We are relying for one or two more players but we only have one slot left in squad for a foreign player, so if we sign more than one then we need to move a foreign player out.”

I probably think we will sell Fornals (sadly) to gain an extra foreigner spot, as a LB and a St possibly being both foreigners etc.

    Yeah, I’m feeling reservedly optinistic.

Regarding Maguire I have admired him in the past playing for England, but we don’t need him.
By the way, it’s good to be back after a monrh or so I forgot my password and couldn’t get an email back to reset it. Very frustrating with no method of contacting anyone to get it sorted. But tried again today and Moore’s your uncle😊
