West Ham have pleaded with supporters not to spoil the end of season party by invading the Boleyn Ground pitch after the Swansea City match.
Members of the West Ham Supporters Advisory board were told by club representatives last night that a pitch invasion after the last game of the season would completely ruin post match entertainment that has been planned.
The club also refused to rule out life bans including the Olympic Stadium for anyone caught running onto the pitch after the last ball has been kicked.
The club did reveal last night that every living player who played for West Ham will be invited back to a game this season. They said there are over 400 of them in total. Every living Hammer of the year have been invited to the final game of the season.
Tony Cottee recently revealed “The club have already written to me and for the Swansea game there’s only 37 West Ham players that won Hammer of the Year, of which 33 are still alive and I am one of the 33 and they have invited the 33 Hammers of the Years back to celebrate the last game ever at Upton Park”
Just invade it after ? Simples .Ffs you couldn’t dream this up .its the end , end of a piece of history , the club should record it for posterity , and have a big f.off picture displayed like the one up top here at the OS .
