Hammers watch things go their way

West Ham saw results go largely in their favour as things at the bottom of the Premier League heated up this afternoon (Sat).

The first result of the day saw Fulham beat strugglers Leeds United 2-1 to leave the Yorkshire outfit in 16th place, two points behind the Irons who now have two games in hand – albeit that one of them is at Manchester City!

Nottingham Forest battled bravely at Anfield and were 2-2 with twenty minutes to go before Jurgen Klopp’s  outfit grabbed a winner to leave Forest second off bottom with 27 points.

Everton – under Sean Dyche – scrapped out a 0- draw at Selhurst Park which sees them third off the bottom with 28 points.

Only Leicester City managed a win – against midlands rivals Wolves – with the 2-1 scoreline seeing them out of the bottom three with 28 points.

Should the Irons beat Bournemouth tomorrow we will rise to 13th place catapulting over the Cherries and above Wolves on goal difference.
