Hammers will sign midfielder despite cash crisis

West Ham will find the cash “one way or another” to complete the deal for Tomas Soucek should the club remain in the Premier League.

The Czech midfielder is set to sign a permanent deal with the club after arriving on loan should the Irons remain in the top division.

However, with clubs taking financial blows from the game’s stoppage there were fears that the balance due on his deal – believed to be around £12 million could be hit.

But David Moyes is a massive fan ( along with Robert Snodgrass ) and is desperate for the deal to be done. And ClaretandHugh has been told by a senior insider that the cash will be found to complete the deal. and is a huge admirer

He explained: “The manager sees Tomas as key to his plans and is a huge admirer. We will definitely complete the deal at the end of the season if as we expect relegation is a thing of the past.”

  1. If we don’t sign anyone and don’t sell anyone other than losing players that are not good enough such as Wilshere, Sanchez, Reid etc Then imho that’s ok because Bowen and Soucek are high quality new players, hopefully Yarmo will be fit and Ajeti will show the form he had in Switzerland, Ben Johnson and Jeremy Ngakia can compete for left and right back positions, Diangana will be back as will Cullen and Holland so it’s not going to be as bad for us as it will for others when a new season starts.
