Hammers worst player on an awful night

Ok, West Ham were awful last night and one individual was unquestionably the worst of the lot!

We are talking Pablo Fornals who produced a truly shocking performance which can only be put down in part to his lack of action this season.

Gonzo I don’t disagree on a lot but I have to admit my jaw dropped when I saw he had awarded him a 3 in his ratings and claimed he tried his heart out.

I saw a player who offered absolutely nothing and was responsible in part for the second goal – a view shared afterwards by Joe Cole who ripped into the No 8.

It was hard not to and his body language  suggested this is a player who knows he will be on the move – probably to Seville – either in January or the summer having made it clear to the club apparently that he plans to leave at the end of his contract or before if a club offers money.

Cole was deeply disappointed with him and said on the second goal: ” “Not tight enough, allowing a cross to come in like that. Fornals there not tight enough, when you’re a winger going back to help your full-back, you’re there to stop the cross, not to just be a mannequin.”
