Hammers/Palace deal looks unlikely

yannick-bolasie-crystal-palaceWest Ham are this morning being linked with a possible move for exciting Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie as a result of Andros Townsend’s switch to Selhurst Park.

According to The Mirror the DR Congo man interests the Irons although Palace have a £20m price tag attached to him.

RR LowHowever, the flaw in the story may be that were there serious interest, it might have been expected the Hammers would have included him in the deal which sees them moving James Tomkins over to South London.

Spurs, Everton, Manchester United and Liverpool have all asked to be kept informed of events but with talks continuing on Gokhan Tore’s loan move and with Sofiane Feghouli on board this is one does no score high on our rumour rating.

With the Hammers arguing over a loan fee for Tore believed to be in the region of £8m, a £20m bid for Bolasie is surely unlike particularly with a central striker still the priority.

  1. 8 million for a loan deal? Stuff that.

  2. 8 mill loan for tore ?? Nuts comes to mind !
    20 mill for bolasie a moses , like , player ??
Double nuts ! Good on his day but can’t pick the day to perform !
Why would pardew want to let him go if he was a 20 mill player !!
    Because he isn’t !!!!!!!
We need Jansen not another winger !!!! and a right back plus a classy c/h !

  3. Not a chance,
With deals for Gomez and Van Persie going to cost less the £10 million, the 2 Daves will be rubbing there hands together,
    Not a problem for me,
We have brought in some great players plus many youngsters with big futures,
Last year was outstanding and we don’t need that many changes,
Like to keep Sak and AC to add to the old boys above plus the young Fletcher,Browne and Martinez
    That will do for me,

  4. I think Bolasie is the option because Tore is unlikely to sign, they both play right wing primarilly. It is also possible they asked Palace to put out the rumour to force Besiktas into budging I suppose if I was a real conspiracy theorist. If we can’t get Tore I would definitely be impressed if we signed Bolasie he is a super athlete with super ability much like Antonio, I believe the rumour to be genuine so let’s wait and see.
