‘Happy’ Reid boosts new contract hopes

Manchester-United-transfer-Winston-Reid-402165Confidence is again growing among club insider that Winston Reid will commit to a new Hammers deal by January.
Reid and his advisers are playing a game of cat and mouse over a new deal which has been on the table for some months now.
And the situation has put the club very much on the back foot as the Reid camp  possibly wait to see what develops in the next transfer window.
But the team’s excellent form has put a smile back on the player’s face as a serious belief grows that the Irons are heading for a seriously bright future.
ClaretandHugh was told a few minutes ago: “It would be wrong to say that anything has changed per se but Winston looks much happier with life given that we are not involved in relegation issues!
“He has been giving interviews and talking things up so we are all hopeful he will see that there’s a bright future in prospect.”
Reid has been offered £60k a week and our source said: “There’s no way he will better that with any club beyond the top five or six and there have still been no official enquites.
“No doubt talks will go down to the wire but we are feeling a bit more confident about things again.”
