Hart disappointed but up for fight says Pearce

pearceWest Ham coach Stuart Pearce says Joe Hart is disappointed that he hasn’t been starting but says he is up for the fight to get back into the first team to improve his chances of selection for the world cup.

Pearce told Talksport “He is disappointed that he hasn’t been playing. The nature or the game is if someone plays well they might keep the shirt. That is what has happened. If it is the goalkeeper we highlight it a lot more than an outfield player but Joe is acutely aware that he has to fight to get back in the team again and he will do that.”

“He is a genuine boy and obviously he has got an eye on the international situation and he wants to go to a World Cup, and rightly so. He has given his all for England. He is a top quality professional that will roll his sleeves up and say ‘I have got to get back in the team’.”
