Heavy Hammers Lingard hint!

|

Hammer Kevin Nolan has dropped a heavy hint that Jesse Lingard could easily become a Hammer again.

Coach Nolan has been watching the former loanee in training over the last three weeks but revealed that the attacking midfielder  has made it clear the London Stadium feels like his second home.

And whilst the former skipper is in no position to give a definitive response on whether he will come back to the club Nolan seems more positive than negative on the issue.

David Moyes is playing his cards close to his chest making it clear the situation is very much a wait and see thing,

However, Nolan, had earlier told the BBC that the player had enjoyed a fantastic six months with us. He explained that he has now re-energised himself, he re-energised the club and he did what he needed to do.

“He’s not quite up to match fitness, at the minute. But Jesse, the first day you see him, and he says it: ‘I feel like it’s my second home and I feel like I need to be here to go again.’ If it works for both I think, it will happen. But that will be up to the boss.

Commenting on the issue he declared: “He’s not quite up to match fitness, at the minute. I think we will continue to assess as we go along. But Jesse, the first day you see him, and he says it: ‘I feel like it’s my second home and I feel like I need to be here to go again.’ If it works for both I think, it will happen. But that will be up to the boss.
